Linus,whose name comes from nobel prize winner Linus Pauling is married to Tove Torvalds a six time national Karate Champion.

Linus has revolutioned the world of operating System by giving the world Linux.In 1973,an asteroid was also named after him.Recently,In 2010 he was inducted into the list of 'top 100 most influential innovators of all time'.

The sapling that was planted by Linus have now grown into a big tree.Linux is commercially widely used because of it being an open source,secure and a flexible operating system.As per the home usage is concerned it still has a long way to go!
